Artist statement
The concept behind my EP project “Untitled” is to present the gradual shift of atmosphere, moving from a party scene to leaving the party. It starts fun and with a lot of energy, but when I drive home from the party late at night, it soon becomes reflective.
This is what I have explored in my EP: the first track is an upbeat RnB banger, driven by the bass and drums. The second track immerses the listener in a slower, more reflective tone. I have produced these pieces both in the UOW recording studio and my home mini-studio, with the assistance of Jamal Baq on my first track, as he improved the sound of my drums.
Inspirations for my tracks come from a variety of artists that I have been listening to, such as Jenevieve and Anderson .Paak, and Destin Conrad.
