Artist statement
My major project is a three track EP that explores space, change and self reflection as I move through new phases of my life.
Through Indie Pop/Rock production the tracks follow the story of a journey through outer space, from liftoff to entering orbit to floating in space. The first track on the EP used help from Nathan Tewi on the drums which were overdubbed on the guitars recorded by me. For the other two songs, they were recorded at home with my home studio, utilising various synth pads and DI instruments to create my vision.
My focus for these tracks was to experiment with harmonies, new technology, layered sound and atmospheric sound experiences to create three tracks that had a coherent story to tell. The first track was created in Ableton in the studio whilst the other two tracks were recorded in Logic Pro.
