Artist Statement

My project is a 3-song punk EP about the current political state of the world. I am the only performer on the project. Before each song, I made my own samples with fellow classmates Chelsea Daghita, Mary Robinson and Indiana Homsy.

I started writing these songs just before the semester started, and at the time I was listening to a lot of garage punk and rock. Then, as the semester went on, I started listening to more synth punk, which led to synth being included throughout all the songs in the final EP to help out with a lack of ‘low end’ in the sound.
