Artist Statement

My major project is a 3-track EP titled DEJA VU. The first track is called ‘IDWK’, an indie rock song with pop influences about being in a new relationship – where everything else in the world fades in importance. The second track, ‘SONGBIRD’, is an alternative folk song that explores coming to terms with mortality. The final song, ‘DEJA VU’, is an indie pop song about repeating the same situation over and over, not learning from your previous experiences.

‘IDWK’ features Victor Strange on drums, Tristan White on lead guitar and myself playing rhythm guitar, bass and vocals. For ‘SONGBIRD’, Victor Strange recorded the drums, Cole Park recorded the acoustic and electric guitar, and I recorded the bass and vocals. For ‘DEJA VU’, I recorded the guitars, bass and vocals and Victor Strange recorded the drums.
