Jack Malolakis grew up playing drums and now has picked up bass, guitar and keys and over the last few years. He strives to fuse these instruments together to create different instrumental music influenced by a broad range of musical genres and styles.
My project is my first proper exploration into using my bedroom as a recording studio playing all instruments myself and writing the different parts. I have made three pieces all taking inspiration from different styles of music, but all being instrumental. All three pieces of music I see to be very different to each other, but tied together through underlying themes and textures and tones.
