Chet is a Musician/composer from the Sutherland shire. He has contributed to many different musical outfits providing drums, guitar, bass and keyboards to various rock bands based in Sydney and Wollongong. His desire to explore the possibilities of creating music has lead him to the result of an expressive and emotive 3 track EP showcasing a wide variety of musical ability.
My major project is a Self Written, Recorded and Produced three track Ep. The concept behind the recording project was to compose two elusive instrumental pieces and one song. The main musical ideas evident within these tracks express a wide range of emotive human feelings and attempt to take the listener on a journey from start to finish. I turned a set of retro musical influences from the 1970s to Inspire the flavour of these recordings and performances. I played the majority of instruments on all three recordings except for the Violin played by Amber Newell on the track Spider Web.
