Brooke Tilston

Brooke is a singer/songwriter who has dreamed of releasing her own music for as long as she can remember. She has recently released two singles onto all music platforms under the name ‘Brooke Casey’, whilst also pursuing her passion for teaching as a piano and vocal tutor at ‘Lighthouse Arts’.

My EP ‘A Lifetime’ explores my lifelong mental journey that has created the person I am today. ‘Now’ explores a journey of excuses and realisations in a relationship, is gut wrenchingly truthful and, for me, the perfect way to leave it in the past. ‘Free’ conveys how sometimes the most stressful and seemingly impossible situations to get through are actually the ones that end up saving us and making us who we are. ‘Maybe Today’ expresses the feeling of always thinking you need to rely on people. It’s about learning that you don’t need to keep holding on if it’s time to let go, even if that’s scary.

Special thanks to Jack Andrews and Myrtle Enriquez Sebastian for being my guitarists, Ricky Joseski for being my drummer, and Rachel Tidbury for being both a fellow vocalist and performing ‘Now’ with me.
