Max Ramirez

Max (Reuben) Ramirez is an Australian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Wollongong. Inspired by Kevin Parker (Tame Impala), Jacob Collier and Gang of Youths, Max writes, records, performs, and produces all the music himself from his bedroom. Max entered the music scene with his debut psychedelic pop album ‘Abstraction,’ releasing in December 2020 and he hasn’t stopped releasing music, with his latest single ‘The Flow’ (featuring Jordan Hunt) released in 2022.
“‘Couch Potato’ is a 6 song EP that I hope to release to the world under the ‘Max Reuben’ name. Recorded here in Australia and overseas (Amsterdam, Paris and London), I have tried to take advantage of my opportunities and many connections I have at uni and in the music scene. The EP has been composed to flow from one song to the other as I switch genres from pop, indie and rock, combining everything I know how to do into one project.
For the concert, I’ve chosen to play the last song on the ep (Vine) and I’m playing it with The Fellas and The Guys (Oliver, Ashton, Zach and Gerard).”
