The 3rd year BA Music Student Graduation Show
‘Outro’ is the graduation showcase of major works by students in the final year of the Bachelor of Creative Arts Music program at the University of Wollongong. As the culmination of their three-year degree, students have created a variety of original works that reflect their diverse musical interests. These cover a broad range of influences from classical music to pop, metal, ambient, funk, disco and jazz styles. Through a range of presentation formats, including EP recordings, audiovisual works and live performances by soloists and bands, Outro is a celebration of the flourishing talent and creativity of our graduating class of 2022.
Special Acknowledgements
Over the course of this semester, and the course of this degree, there are so many people who have educated us, trained us, listened to us, pushed us and steered us toward better paths. These people have helped to nurture our love of music in a world where studying a Creative Art is questioned, and have supported us in finding our own niches in which we thrive.
To our tutors – Terumi, Alex, Karen, (and all the other wonderful people who helped educate us over the years), thank you. Without your patience and persistence, many of us wouldn’t have made it to CAMS380 and out the other side.
To Aaron, Matt, Jariss, and the rest of the wonderful behind-the-scenes tech crew, thanks for solving all of our problems (that often only require ‘turning it off and on again’). The role you played in this was astronomical, and we are so thankful for your contribution.
To our friends and family, thank you for your support in our studies. Thanks for being our sounding boards, our ‘devils advocates’ and our biggest fans.
Finally, to the cohort of CAMS380 2022. The community you have created is something else. The generosity and support from everyone through the stressful times has made completing our degrees so much more enjoyable, and such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to see all of you thriving, making music that you love and sharing that with the wider community.
Also, thanks Evan!
