Jessica Lund

Jessica is a singer-songwriter with a passion for lyric writing. Her voice is her instrument, she uses it to create simple melodies mostly accompanied by the piano. Her inspirations are Stella Donnelly, Julia Jacklin, and Alice Phoebe Lou. She aims to express herself through her lyrics the same way her inspirations have.
“My project is a three-track ep titled ‘Lives I’m not living’. My ep is inspired by the quote, “Sometimes I can feel my bones straining under the weight of all the lives I’m not living” by Jonathan Safran Foer, from his book ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’. Isabella Kopriva accompanied me. Bella played the piano and guitar for track 1, ‘Lives I’m not Living’, the piano for track 2, ‘Feel Better’, and the guitar for ‘A little more time’. I recorded these in the recording studio along with my vocals. I added synth strings on ‘Feel Better’, and piano synth on ‘Lives I’m not Living’ using the programs on the computers in the lab.”
