Aiden Corbin
Aiden Corbin is an up-and-coming musician who has a passion for Indie rock and regularly checks out the local noise. He grew up in Wollongong where he has been influenced by the surf saturated culture to explore the indie rock genres. The multi-instrumentalist is currently working on a smash EP on love, loss and everything in between.
“‘My Contemporary Self’ is a three track EP based on some short snippets into the experiences of my current self in everyday life. I recorded this EP to explore the feelings and thoughts of three key parts of my life including my work, my relationships and my downtime.
Track one titled ‘Stare’, is a slow rock song featuring themes of love and appreciation for the people in my life. It explores the idea of how life can be blowing up around you but being around loved ones makes anything feel better.
Track two is called ‘Faces’, it is an indie rock rage song, it features hard guitar and fast paced drums. The track displays the strange feeling of seeing people from your past and how either good or frustrating it can be.
Track three, ‘Untitled Jam’, is a laid-back grunge piece, the piece features laid back messy sounds that display the bleak in between of life’s quiet moments.”
