Lachlan Dibley

Lachlan is a singer-songwriter from Wollongong NSW who performs a range of music from acoustic ballads to pop-punk and heavy metal. He uses this range in genre to bring different influences into each piece he writes, whether it be solo or within a band setting to capture the emotions of the listener.
“My EP ‘Moving Forward’ is a 3 track EP focusing on how I as a person experience and begin to move on after loss in my life. Each track represents either a direct emotion or a stage I experience after loss.
“Angry With Myself”’ is an upbeat acoustic piece that lyrically is about struggling with self-directed anger and not feeling worth anything. This is a song focusing on my own self views and destructive habits that I may fall into after loss.
“Mind Games” is a piece about mental struggles and sorrow. In this piece I experiment with more vocal techniques and layering to build past just a vocal and acoustic guitar piece.
“Last September” is an acoustic piece performed with just myself both playing guitar and singing. This piece is about moving forward, even when I might not always feel okay and finally earning happiness.”
