He began guitar lessons at the age of 6, and has since learned keyboard, vocals, and self-taught drums. In his teen years, he played with The Con Artists, an ensemble which plays folk styles predominantly from non-western Europe. Sebastian grew up with rock music, especially liking prog rock, but has become accustomed to all sorts of music including jazz, electronic, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>For my major project, I recorded a 3-piece EP with all instruments played by myself. My interest in this project was the relationship between live recording and DAW sounds, so each piece contains a different degree of each. The first piece<em> In Vivois<\/em> predominantly recorded live and is a rocking piece with the utilisation of an octatonic mode for unique tonal exploration. The second piece <em>Elevator Pitch<\/em> is an intermediate between live sounds and DAW sounds and uses a looping drum-machine as the basis for tense jamming.
