Musically, she mainly performs and writes ballads, while also delving into the Pop and Country genres. I am using this EP as a way to express hard or vulnerable emotions by creating a story and a fictional character through which I can perform as a way to address the anxiety I feel about romance. I am presenting this project and character through the genre of <strong>Japanese City Pop<\/strong>, where I use these themes to tell this story in an overly romanticized manner, where each song is its own short story in the overall larger narrative that unfolds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I worked with a number of my fellow students to realise this concept. Across the EP, I have worked with <strong>Liam Brown <\/strong>as co-producer, and <strong>Melody Tough<\/strong>, <strong>Nathan Tewi<\/strong>, <strong>Callum Spillane<\/strong> and <strong>Matilda Dickson <\/strong>as collaborators. Both track one and two <strong>\u201cFeelings\u201d <\/strong>and <strong>\u201cThe Plan\u201d <\/strong>also include <strong>Freddie Pinder <\/strong>as guitarist. I also collaborated with T<strong>om Wilcox-Symons<\/strong> and <strong>Ethan Tudor <\/strong>for Track 3 <strong>\u201cCrystal Clear\u201d<\/strong> with <strong>Liam<\/strong> providing rhythm guitar on both the recording and live performance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Artist bio Daniella is a singer-songwriter, creative writer and poet.
