Continuing this practice with her band, Jamnation, and through compositions and performances. The first track, <strong>\u201cThe Mould,\u201d<\/strong> addresses societal expectations of women, challenging unrealistic standards through a neo-soul sound.<strong> \u201cThe Carver\u201d<\/strong> is more personal, reflecting on the expectations placed on me by family and friends, alongside my desire to exceed them. The final track, <strong>\u201cThe Statue,\u201d <\/strong>explores feeling lost within these pressures and struggling to break free from the \u2018broken\u2019 identity they create. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I provide vocals throughout the EP. <strong>Jai Cole <\/strong>plays guitar on <strong>\u201cThe Carver,\u201d<\/strong> while <strong>Lewis Kerr<\/strong>, <strong>Ben Chin<\/strong>, and <strong>Ethan<\/strong> <strong>Tudor<\/strong> contribute guitar, bass, and drums respectively on <strong>\u201cThe Statue.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Artist bio Anielle Saminaden is a Sydney and Illawarra-based singer-songwriter, surrounded by music from a young age.
