He started playing guitar during the first COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 and has grown to expand his musical knowledge through composing experimental indie\/rock music using piano, electric and acoustic guitar, and vocals. The EP is based around two concepts, the lyrical concept being that the songs are written from the perspective of a lamp post, and that instrumentally I will be experimenting with odd time signatures, morphing sound and using odd harmonies.<br><br>The drums written and recorded by <strong>Nathan Davy<\/strong>, saxophone by <strong>Matilda Dickson<\/strong> and some assistance in production from <strong>Hamish Laverack<\/strong>, all other instruments were recorded, written and produced by myself. The drums and electric guitar were recorded live; all other instruments were recorded individually.<br><br>The three songs tell three different stories, <strong>&#8220;St Cecilia&#8221;<\/strong> describing my journey in music and how I have evolved as a musician, <strong>&#8220;Hooliganisms&#8221;<\/strong> going into detail on youth, taking inspiration from the 1996 film<strong> &#8220;Trainspotting&#8221;<\/strong> directed by <strong>Danny Boyle<\/strong>.
