Rooted in <strong>Neo-Soul <\/strong>and <strong>R&amp;B <\/strong>with influences from artists such as <strong>Maesago<\/strong>, <strong>6lack<\/strong> and <strong>Avenoir<\/strong>, I\u2019ve created a storyline that follows a couple navigating through their conflicting natures, feelings of hopelessness and eventual resolution.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I intentionally provided two opposing perspectives to challenge the different ideals and values a relationship may face as opposed to justifying one viewpoint as inherently correct. These viewpoints allow for the audience to resonate more deeply with the music and draw upon their own experiences to enhance the narrative of the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within this project I embraced the majority of the production and worked in collaboration with <strong>Romana Raseki <\/strong>on vocals, melodies and lyrics as well as <strong>Jai Cole<\/strong> for piano improvisation.
