He has honed his performance skills through various bands at UOW, gigs, and at his church. His music aims to evoke joy in the listener. The 2 songs take a contrasting approach to the funk genre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The song \u201cEnter If You Dare\u201d features instruments common to the funk genre: Vocals (Rowena Russell), drums (Morrisey Powell), electric guitar (Ryley Knight) and bass guitar played by me. This light hearted, energetic song tells the moral conflicts of a surprise Nerf war with my wife. &#8220;Enter If You Dare&#8221; is best heard live so will be performed in the concert \u201cOutro\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The second track, \u201cThe Man Who Dared\u201d, features instruments uncommon to the funk genre but is still heavily inspired by it. In the piece I play the guitar, bass, sing, and beatbox. The lyrics in some of the verses are written so that I can beatbox and sing them at the same time.
