has-text-color\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Program notes<\/strong><br><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color\">\u2018One Voice\u2019 was composed with the intention to share three individual testimonies under the theme of mental illness. To correlate with the depth of this piece, I decided to curate a piano ballad. The testimonies are performed through the verses, while the chorus and bridge are expressive of unity, the power of multiple people sharing one voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color\">Each verse is intended to be shared through Instagram by an overarching charity, acting as a three-part series, \u2018Not Alone\u2019. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color\">Additionally, there is an instrumental version of \u2018One Voice\u2019. This version was curated to act as a backing track, to allow individuals to share their own testimony through social media and to further highlight the message of one voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color\">Each component of the project was recorded within the recording studio, utilising the music software, Ableton.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color\">I am grateful for the collaborators of my project, Ella Grace and Ethan Ferguson. Ella worked closely with me in the early phases of the production, and continued to work closely with the performing vocals, grand piano and synth. Ethan was additionally a great assistance in the performing of drums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color\">I am also grateful for those who have contributed to becoming the musician I am; the teaching team of UOW music.
